Vulture Shadows

Deep blue skies, sunshine and turkey vultures enjoying the sun on their backs. As a grounded observer I envy the ease with which the vultures soar and drift on the currents high above. Today was a day of watching their shadows as they glided across the landscape. I watched as a shadow passed over me then along the ground, then scattered and broken along the branches and trunks of the trees. Finally up the old tin roof of a century old barn to meet the vulture itself soaring just above the barn. Wonderful images, beautiful day.
